For the Couch Potato in You!
No Comments Posted by: Kim

Happy Friday, Affiliates! Has your week felt like it’s been taking forever like mine has? But only because I’m so anxious for a 3 day weekend! I remember talking with one of my affiliates on Monday and we were both already wishing it was Friday. Right after work I’m heading to Michigan to visit my sister. I’m not looking forward to all the traffic though. I probably won’t get there until midnight tonight. Just getting out of the Chicago area is going to take 2 hours alone…but it’ll be worth it! I love going to visit my sister because I hardly get to see her, but mostly because she has a pool! Haha.. Just kidding.. :) What are my affiliate’s big plans for the holiday weekend?

But seriously, I can’t wait to lay out by the pool and hopefully get a tan! I think it’s supposed to be 80 degrees on Sunday so that will be awesome! Finally warm weather is here. It’s been 50 something degrees lately, unusual weather for May! But looks like summer is right around the corner!
So speaking of summer, I always get so excited for summer TV shows to start. My favorites are So You Think You Can Dance (which started last night by the way!) and True Blood. I’ve been watching SYTYCD for a while now. I usually don’t like those kinds of reality shows but I love this one! Probably because I dance so I can understand and tell who is actually a good dancer! As for True Blood, I just started getting into this series. For those of you who have not seen it, don’t think it’s just another show about vampires, there’s so much more to it! I’m currently reading the books and they’re great!

I suggest watching both of these shows! So, affiliates give your users this DirecTV- Install Offer so they can get all the channels they need to watch their shows! It has a great pay-out of $190. It converts on a valid credit card submit and a completed transaction.

*Term of the Week*

Craig decided to test Krissy and I today on which landing page is better to use.

He showed us 2 different ones and asked which is the better choice. Turns out the one where the fields are Above the Fold is the way to go!

Above the Fold means that once a web page has loaded the part that is visible is ‘above the fold’.

Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend! :)

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!
No Comments Posted by: Krissy

It’s almost noon in the Midwest so Good Afternoon to all of my affiliates! I hope all of you had an enjoyable weekend. I spent most of my weekend relaxing, but on Sunday, I went to my first baseball game at U.S. Cellular Field to watch the Chicago White Sox play the Los Angeles Dodgers. I’m not a very big baseball fan, but it was pretty entertaining. It was so funny to watch some of the fans sitting over by me heckle Matt Kemp for dating Rihanna. He even turned around to acknowledge us which I also thought was pretty hilarious. Did any of my affiliates do anything fun this weekend?!

I loved how crowded U.S. Cellular got yesterday at the game, but I definitely did not realize how expensive food gets at parks… It was a sweltering 80 degrees at the stadium (if not HOTTER), and a bottle of water cost me $4.50. Later in the day, I also got a soft pretzel with cheese and a yummy Pina Colada in a gi-normous White Sox collectable cup. With all my ballpark snacks, I probably spent around $20 just on food. I guess that’s pretty normal for a baseball game, right?!

I bet everyone has plans for the summer; baseball games, summer getaways, weekend road trips, shopping sprees – whatever it may be! To make sure that these plans don’t fall through, I definitely feel like a great offer to pick up right now would be the Discover More Credit Card, which has a pay-out of $65.00. To all of my affiliates, if you are interested, I’d be happy to set up this offer in your account!

Affiliates – what are your plans for the Memorial Day weekend? Do you have the day off? Here at Clickso, we will be enjoying a long, three-day holiday weekend, and I hope all of you can do the same!

Talk to you soon, everyone!

And in Today’s News!
No Comments Posted by: Kim

Hi everyone! Unfortunately Krissy and I will not be writing this blog together, she is out of the office today! It’s weird not having her here! I miss her! :(
The exciting news in the office this week is our office vacation! We are all going to a resort in Wisconsin and staying in cabins for a weekend in August. I’m so excited! We are going to be going on boats, fishing, swimming..all that fun stuff! I think they have canoe and kayak rentals there. I’ve gone kayaking before and I definitely want to again. I also want to try to go to the Dells for a few hours. I haven’t been there since high school. But I love water parks so hopefully I can drag some people with me! We’ll also be grilling out one night which is one of my favorite things to do in the summer! I just hope there aren’t too many bugs..but I guess that’s a lot to ask since we are pretty much camping! As long as I don’t see any spiders I’ll be OK! But it looks like a really fun place to get away for a weekend and I can’t wait to go! Do any of my affiliates go camping in the summer? Where is your favorite place to go?

In other news..Osama Bin Laden… I guess I don’t have to say much about this subject since it has been all over the news non-stop. But one story I just read, which is pretty interesting and some of you may find it so, is that Bin Laden was apparently using computer disks and intermediaries to send emails without the U.S being able to detect it. I guess this system was really slow but it worked. He was able to send emails without having internet or phone lines. You can read more about it and how he was able to get away with it here.. http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/world_news&id=8129338&rss=rss-kabc-article-8129338 . I just think its crazy how much we are finding out about him now!

Affiliates, pick up this offer while Bin Laden is still making headlines! Osama Death Survey is an email submit that converts on a quick 5 question survey. It pays out at $1.50 and has an EPC of $0.29. This offer is doing great right now! …I wonder if they’ll make May 1st a national holiday? What do you think?

Well, on a lighter note.. This Just In! One of our cabins has a hot tub. I hope it’s the one I’m staying in! :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

At Clickso, we reward our affiliates!
No Comments Posted by: Krissy

This week, Kim and I decided to write another blog together! We had so much fun writing it last week, and wrote an even longer blog entry than usual. We hope all of our affiliates enjoyed reading it just as much as we enjoyed writing it!

We want to start out this week’s entry by talking about our new program called, Flexible Rewards. If you sign up to become a publisher on our site, you could earn some amazing rewards. The more monthly earnings you make, the more valuable your reward will be. We have one affiliate already who has won an iPod Nano, (Monthly earnings: $20,000)!

This program was created as an incentive to our affiliates to reward them for sending us traffic. Here is a list of what prizes an affiliate can win:

- $5,000+: $50 Gift Card
- $10,000+: $100 Gift Card
- $20,000+: iPod Nano
- $30,000+: Nintendo Wii
- $50,000+: Digital SLR (a Camera!)
- $70,000+: iPad
- $100,000+: 50” Plasma TV
- $150,000+: MacBook Pro
- $250,000+: 92” Projector Screen
- $300,000+: Watches
- $500,000+: Jewelry
- $1 Million: Car

We hope this program will motivate our affiliates to not only pick up more offers, but drive traffic to the offers that they are already running! If you’re not sure which offers to pick up, you can always check our blog for information on the top performing offers of the week.

Users can qualify for a $4,000 scholarship with the Career Stimulus Package 4k Scholarship offer. It has an EPC of $2.26 and a pay-out of $32.00. The offer converts on the user being eligible to receive information from a university.

The second offer that we are going to talk about today is our PolicyGo Life Insurance offer, which is a zip submit. The EPC for this offer is $0.89, and the pay-out is $5.50. This campaign offers users free life insurance quotes.

*Term of the Week*

Last week, the term of the week was actually an equation Kim used to figure out an eCPM of an offer. This week, it’s my turn! Since I have only been an affiliate manager for a few months, (I started in February 2011), I am constantly hearing new terms that I still am not familiar with. Today, I heard the abbreviation, “AOR.” Because I didn’t know what it meant, of course, I had to google it!

AOR is an abbreviation for Agency of Record. This means that a network handles all of the marketing for an entire line of products for an advertiser. All of the advertiser’s products have to go directly through their AOR network. If you are working with an AOR, you are running an exclusive offer.

That’s all for now! Hope you enjoyed reading our blog this week, even though it didn’t have to do with vacations or Harry Potter World. We hope that all of our affiliates have a great weekend!
