April Fool’s!
No Comments Posted by: Kim

How’s it goin’? I can’t believe it’s already April! That means baseball season and warmer weather. Two of my favorite things! Everyone in the office is excited about the Chicago Cubs opener tomorrow, but I’m a White Sox fan so I’ll have to wear my Sox shirt and stand out!

Another fun thing about April is, of course, April Fool’s Day. Every year I want to pull a prank on someone, but every year I forget! I think the last time I did was in High School. It was probably 2 weeks until Prom and I told my date that I wasn’t going to go with him anymore. He had already bought his tuxedo and we had everything planned so he got really mad, obviously! This went on for about 15 minutes until I finally said ‘April Fool’s!’ OK, I guess that’s a pretty mean joke but it was funny in the end! This year I’m trying to come up with something really good. Any suggestions? Let’s hear your April Fool’s Day stories!

Krissy had a great idea of pulling an April Fool’s joke on Craig. Craig if your reading this..don’t worry we are still in the process so it may not even happen (wink, wink)

No one likes to be the victim of an April Fool’s joke, so you need to outsmart the joker. Affiliates, help out your users and put up The Mind Quiz Brain Teaser! It converts on a PIN submit after taking a short quiz, then generates the user’s IQ score. This offer is doing great right now and has an EPC of $0.87! Your users will find out their IQ score and see if they’re smart enough to be the joker or if their doomed to be the jok-ee! I hope I’m not the latter! Happy April everyone!

Britney, Britney Everywhere!
No Comments Posted by: Krissy

Happy Tuesday, everyone! :-D I hope all of you have had a great start to the day as I can definitely say I have. Not only is today the release date for Britney Spears’ seventh studio album, Femme Fatale, but I also watched her perform on this morning’s episode of Good Morning America as I ate my breakfast before work. She also let out the news of her upcoming tour (FINALLY!) with Enrique Iglesias this summer, and she will be in Chicago July 8th. I guarantee I will be first in line to buy tickets as soon as they come out! Now that you all know my Britney-obsession, I want to know, who are my affiliates favorite artists?!

You can definitely catch me at the local Best Buy during my lunch hour purchasing her new CD! While we are actually on the topic of Best Buy, I will discuss one of Clickso’s newest offers, the $1,000 Best Buy Gift Card! This offer is brand new seeing as my advertising manager has just put it up last Friday. This offer converts on a first page email submit, and has a payout of $1.60. With all the new music that is coming out this season, I suggest all my affiliates should go and pick this offer up immediately!

‘Til next time I everyone! :-D

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you are all having a great week! Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Kim, I am the newest member of the Clickso team! I graduated from Illinois State University (Go Redbirds!) with a bachelors in Communications. I am currently going to graduate school for a masters degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. I haven’t been working in the field for too long; but so far I am loving it and learning so much from my wonderful co-workers, Craig and Krissy!

Just a few more hours till the weekend! Anyone have any fun plans? Today is payday so I will definitely be going shopping this weekend! Speaking of which, everyone loves to shop; especially online now so let me tell you about one of our shopping offers called Quibids.

Quibids is an auction blowout site. There are a ton of great products available with low prices. This offer converts on a credit card purchase of a bid package. It has an awesome pay-out of $34.00 and an EPC of $0.78.

That’s it for today! I hope you all have a great weekend and remember to get Quibids set up for the weekend!

California Dreamin’!
No Comments Posted by: Krissy

Good morning everyone! I just arrived at the office, and it has been such a rainy morning already. Sunday was the first day of spring, and Chicagoland was greeted with not only rain but thunder, lightning and hail! The beginning of the spring season means several things to me: rain boots, spring showers, baseball games, and my first ad:tech conference, which is actually in San Francisco this year! I am super excited to finally meet all of the affiliates I interact with on a daily basis. :) Will I be meeting any of my blog readers at ad:tech?!

Not only am I excited to interact with all my colleagues, but I have never actually been to Northern California. I have family who live all over SoCal, but have not had the pleasure of visiting the Bay area. My team and I will only be in San Francisco for a few days, but I would love to hear some suggestions of what there is to do out there! Where are your favorite places to go in San Francisco?! I already know I want to take a ride across the Golden Gate Bridge, which sounds so corny, I know!

Only three weeks left until this adventure… Can’t wait! :)

Too busy to Blog?
No Comments Posted by: Craig

Am I a slacker or just too busy taking care of my affiliates to write a blog entry, I would say too busy with my affiliates! Nice to meet all of you my name is Craig Ferrelli and I am one of the Affiliate Managers at Most of you already know me from doing business together or from reading Krissy’s blog entries so I won’t go into too much about me, but if you want to know something feel free to ask!

I don’t really know who is reading this or if anyone ever will but I want to use my entries as kind of a way for people new to the industry to ask their questions and learn things they may not have known before. I know a lot of people are probably embarrassed if they do not know some of terminology in the industry and to be honest with you I have spoken to many people new to the industry whom do not know some of the simplest terms used. So I will start slow and maybe someday in the distant future if the technology has not involved we can cover everything. To start I am going to just do a quick rundown of some of the more common types of offers, they are:

CPA(L) – Cost Per Action(Lead) – These types of offers require the user to complete an action in order for the publisher to get paid. Common actions are email submits, Nth page submits, credit card submits and email confirmations.

CPS – Cost Per Sale – This offer type results in the publisher getting paid by way of the user purchasing something. A lot of offers like this tend to be Revenue Share which pays the Publisher a % of the sale but there are some that act like CPA’s and just pay a flat rate.

PPC – Pay Per Click – Though they typically have way lower payouts they pay by the click! Which means all the user has to do is click on the offer and the Publisher gets paid.

Coreg – These are the “Yes” and “No” questions you are asked normally after filling out a form or on a path. These tend to payout way less and really are just used for sending the users information to whomever they click “Yes” on.

Well I hope you have enjoyed my little spiel and did not bore you too much! I hope everyone has a good weekend! I was myself was planning on going to the movies but may put it off till next weekend as I really want to see Sucker Punch. So it may just be a sit at home and watch basketball all weekend, watching my bracket dreams go down the drain.
